The Eagles Community Outreach is a nonprofit program located at 406 N Fox Ridge in Raymore, Mo. This program is designed to help Cass County families make ends meet. Most of whom we serve are working single parent families with minimum paying jobs. Our program helps our clients by providing clothes, diapers, personal hygiene products, nonperishable food and a limited selection of frozen meats, all at no charge.
We also have a section called “Dress for Success” set up for men and women who are preparing for job interviews or who need proper attire for a job they already have. It not only includes clothing but accessories like jewelry, purses, shoes, and makeup so the person goes out on that interview feeling confident.
The “store” is set up like a boutique to create a pleasant, clean atmosphere to shop. Families can receive up to 4 outfits per month for everyone in their household. Only clothing in excellent condition is steamed and put on the racks.
This program helps people who earn too much money for government assistance, and choose to work to support their families. In other words, it helps close the gap.
We offer personal hygiene items such as toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and laundry soap.
To help young families, we have diaper assistance with baby wipes and some formulas.
Every child deserves a Birthday celebration. To help families do this, we offer two new gifts, cake mix, icing and party favors.
Our food program includes nonperishable food and some frozen meats to help with a few meals until a person receives a paycheck.
Eagles Community Outreach is run by volunteers, supported by monetary donations and by individuals who donate clothing and other needed items.
